The suede cover feels almost velvety when I hold it, which makes writing in it before bed a little ritual now. Pages flip smoothly and lay flat, so I don’t have to wrestle with it mid-thought.

I was a little worried the suede cover would feel cheap, but it’s genuinely soft and substantial in the hand. The hardcover keeps it from flopping open, and the gold design adds just enough elegance without being flashy.

The gold geometric design catches the light so nicely on my desk, and the hard cover gives it a sturdy feel that holds up in my bag. The sueded texture is smooth but grippy enough that it never slides around while I write.
